Seating confusion was rampant in the LOGE seats because the venue had apparently added another Loge section lower down - so there were two sets of every seat - Like many others, we had to move after we had settled into some VERY uncomfortable seats right above the floor seats. The Casino Hotel is 45 minutes away! We had to wait outside in a big line (long time since doing that) because we later found out, the Who's drummer had to be replaced at the last minute, and they were inside practicing (and the new drummer was GREAT). DO NOT BE CONFUSED and book a room at Valley View Casino if you want to stay by the concert. (Note: we bought tickets the minute they went on sale.) For clarity, let me add this: The San Diego Sports Arena is now named the Valley View Casino Center. Our tickets were pricey for 2 Loge seats, but we got anything but 'high level' seating. And, for a gritty rock concert, the music counts! However, if you are a Baby Boomer (60's, like my husband and myself), you won't find this the finest of seating, nor the most efficiently run venue to watch a concert. The reason I gave this venue two dots instead of ONE DOT is.because we found the accoustics for THE WHO 'Quadrophenia' concert to be fine.
